Program Director

The change maker in this role will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs for JLD Community Solutions. They will:

  1. Ensure programs and services meet community needs, supervise existing program activities, establish new program activities that align with our mission, and expand the programs within the community as needed.
  2. Assist in the marketing and distribution of program information.
  3. Recruit and hire diverse volunteer teams across multiple dimensions of diversity. Onboards and develops them for success.
  4. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations.
  5. Maintain regular, clear, and concise communication within area of responsibility.
  6. Manage the programs, including developing and monitoring the program budget to meet fiscal objectives; compile program statistics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in program; secure and schedule the needed facilities.
  7. Create and schedule the classes, activities or events.
  8. Assume other duties, responsibilities and projects identified as needed by the Executive Director.

Volunteer Coordinator

The change maker in this role will be responsible for organizing all aspects of volunteering for JLD Community Solutions' programs and events, from recruiting new volunteers to helping to maintain existing volunteers. They will:

  1. Recruit and hire diverse volunteer teams through various techniques.
  2. Onboard volunteers, provide appropriate training and develop them for success.
  3. Place volunteers in different roles based on qualifications and availability.
  4. Identify and create programs that will help increase volunteerism.
  5. Assume other duties, responsibilities and projects identified as needed by the Executive Director.


Fundraising Manager

The change maker in this role will oversee campaigns and events intended to bring in donations, grants, sponsorships, in-kind donations, etc. to support JLD Community Solutions' programs and events. They will:

  1. Conduct research on fundraising opportunities.
  2. Write funding proposals and submit to potential donors.
  3. Identify ingenious ways to raise awareness of programs and events to the community.
  4. Prepare quarterly budgets, work closely with Treasurer, auditors and internal teams, ensuring annual targets are met.
  5. Write, submit and upload press releases as required.
  6. Assume other duties, responsibilities and projects identified as needed by the Executive Director.


Social Media Manager

The change maker in this role will oversee JLD Community Solutions' interactions with the public by managing social media platforms' content strategies. They will:

  1. Create schedules to create regular posts, reels, etc across the various platforms.
  2. identify potential to implement new social media platforms and increase engagement.
  3. Analyze engagement and identify trends in supporter interactions.
  4. Utilize creativity and plan digital campaigns to build community online.
  5. Work alongside Program Director and other internal teams to create content that align with relevant programs and events.
  6. Assume other duties, responsibilities and projects identified as needed by the Executive Director.
